SAP FICO Consultant - Senior Role.

Location: Pune, India.

Work Mode: Work From Office 5 days week.

Experience: 5+ Years.

Employment Type: Full-Time.

- Immediate joiners or short notice joiners preferred.

- As an SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) Consultant with 5+ years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to implement, configure, and optimize the SAP FICO module to meet the financial management requirements of clients.

- You will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, streamlined financial processes, and compliance with accounting standards.

- Your expertise in SAP FICO will contribute to effective financial planning, analysis, and controlling within the SAP system.

- Responsibilities: Implementation and Configuration: Collaborate with clients to understand their financial management processes and requirements and configure the SAP FICO module accordingly.

- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party applications, as needed.

- Financial Accounting: Configure and maintain the General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting modules.

- Ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions in compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

- Controlling: Configure and maintain Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product Costing modules.

- Assist clients in cost planning, budgeting, and variance analysis.

- Ensure accurate allocation and tracking of costs within the organization.

System Optimization:


- Identify opportunities for system optimization and propose solutions to improve efficiency, streamline financial processes, and enhance reporting capabilities.

- Optimize the SAP FICO system to meet the specific needs of the business.

Support and Maintenance:


- Provide ongoing support to clients by troubleshooting issues, resolving system errors, and implementing necessary enhancements.

- Monitor system performance, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and ensure system stability.

Reporting and Analysis:


- Develop financial reports using SAP Report Painter and Report Writer.

- Analyze financial data, conduct variance analysis, and provide insights to support business decision-making.

- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Testing and Documentation:


- Develop test scenarios, perform unit testing, and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Document functional specifications, configuration changes, and system enhancements.

- Create user manuals and provide training to end-users.

Business Process Analysis:


- Analyze client's financial processes, identify gaps, and recommend best practices for financial management.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement standardized financial processes.

Change Management:


- Assist in change management activities by conducting impact assessments, preparing change requests, and coordinating with the development and implementation teams to deploy changes effectively.

Training and Knowledge Sharing:


- Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to ensure a smooth transition to the SAP FICO system.

- Share your expertise and knowledge with team members, providing guidance and mentoring as needed.

Requirements:

Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant, working on end-to-end implementation and support projects.


SAP FICO Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP FICO module functionalities, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Controlling (CO), and integration with other SAP modules.

Configuration Skills: Proficiency in configuring SAP FICO settings, chart of accounts, financial statement versions, profit centers, cost centers, and other relevant configuration elements.

Integration Knowledge: Understanding of the integration points between SAP FICO and other modules like SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), SAP MM (Materials Management), and SAP PP (Production Planning).

Financial Management Knowledge: Familiarity with financial accounting principles, cost accounting concepts, and financial reporting requirements.

Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, business users, and cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
