Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced ECM Practice Head to lead our Enterprise Content Management (ECM) initiatives across solutioning, delivery, presales, competency development, and P&L management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ECM technologies (such as OpenText(Xecm),Exstream, SharePoint, Documentum, Alfresco, IBM FileNet, etc.), coupled with leadership experience across global engagements.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for growing the ECM practice, building customer confidence, and ensuring successful delivery of ECM solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Practice & Competency Leadership
- Build and lead the ECM practice with a focus on capability development, resource planning, and team mentoring.
- Define ECM strategy aligned to business goals, including roadmaps, best practices, reusable components, and accelerators.
- Drive innovation by staying up to date with emerging technologies and platforms in the ECM space.
Presales & Solutioning
- Lead ECM presales efforts: responding to RFPs/RFIs, crafting solution architecture, building-proposals, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify opportunities and win strategic deals.
- Own the overall solution strategy, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance across customer engagements.
Delivery Management.
- Oversee delivery of complex ECM programs across industries, ensuring timelines, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Establish robust delivery frameworks and governance models for risk management, SLA adherence, and escalation handling.
- Ensure high CSAT scores and repeat business by consistently delivering value to customers.
P&L and Growth Ownership.
- Manage the ECM practice P&L with full responsibility for revenue, margins, resource utilization, and cost optimization.
- Define growth plans, track business KPIs, and report progress to executive leadership.
- Drive account mining and upselling within existing clients in collaboration with the sales team.
Key Requirements:
- 15+ years of total IT experience with at least 8 years in ECM leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in ECM platforms like OpenText, Documentum, SharePoint, FileNet, Alfresco, or similar.
- Strong background in solution architecture, presales, and large-scale ECM program delivery.
- Demonstrated success in P&L management, team building, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in working with global clients and multicultural teams.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- Relevant ECM certifications are a plus (e., OpenText Certified Expert, Microsoft 365, FileNet Certified, etc.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to AI/ML-based content extraction, intelligent document processing (IDP), or RPA integrations.
- Knowledge of cloud-based ECM solutions and migration strategies (e., OpenText Cloud, M365, AWS, Azure).
