Techolution - Financial Controller

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead the financial operations and ensure compliance, accuracy, and integrity of the companys financial reporting.

The Financial Controller will oversee budgeting, forecasting, accounting, tax, audit, and internal controls, playing a pivotal role in strategic decision-making and financial planning.

This position is ideal for a finance professional with strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills who can operate in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.

- Ensure compliance with all local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.

- Lead internal and external audit processes and address audit findings effectively.

Budgeting & Forecasting

- Lead annual budgeting, financial planning, and rolling forecast exercises.

- Provide variance analysis and insights to support business performance tracking and decision-making.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support business operations.

- Oversee treasury operations, including banking relationships, fund allocations, and FX management

Internal Controls & Risk Management

- Establish and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure process efficiency.

- Identify financial and operational risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Team Management

- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals across accounting, compliance, AR/AP, and FP&A functions.

- Build a high-performing finance team aligned with organizational goals.

Strategic Finance

- Partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, including cost optimization, pricing, M&A, and investment decisions.

- Provide financial modeling, business case analysis, and KPI tracking.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have:

- Proven experience 4as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role.

- Professional qualification such as CA / CPA / CMA / ACCA.

- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and statutory regulations.

- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and MS Excel
