Techolution - Accounts Receivable Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Manager to lead and oversee the end-to-end AR function, ensuring timely and accurate collection of receivables, efficient cash flow management, and strong stakeholder relationships.

This role requires a strategic thinker with deep operational expertise in billing, collections, reconciliations, and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Operations

- Manage and oversee the full AR lifecycle: invoice processing, credit control, collections, cash applications, reconciliations, and reporting.

- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices to improve DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).

- Ensure accurate and timely billing in accordance with client contracts and terms.

- Review and approve credit limits and creditworthiness assessments.

Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of AR specialists and analysts.

- Set goals, monitor performance, and ensure proper training and adherence to company policies.

Stakeholder Communication

- Serve as the point of contact for customer escalations, internal finance teams, auditors, and sales/business units.

- Coordinate with sales and operations to resolve disputes, billing discrepancies, or collection issues.

Compliance & Controls

- Maintain compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements (if applicable), and financial regulations.

- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with proper AR reporting and accruals.

- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.

Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare and present AR performance reports, aging analysis, cash flow forecasts, and KPI dashboards to leadership.

- Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline AR functions and enhance collections.

Technical & Functional Skills

Must-Have:

- Solid experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).

- Strong proficiency in Excel, with knowledge of pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and AR analytics.

- Good understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) related to revenue recognition and AR.

- Proven ability to reduce DSO and improve AR health
