About the Opportunity

A fast-growing technology consulting organization specializing in Performance Engineering, Observability, Scalability, Reliability, and Digital Quality Assurance is looking for a Technology Leader to drive complex enterprise transformation initiatives. The role demands a hands-on technology leader who can architect solutions, solve critical performance challenges, mentor teams, and build scalable practices while partnering with enterprise CIOs and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Technology Leadership

- Lead and successfully deliver complex Performance Engineering, Observability, and Digital Quality Assurance engagements.

- Drive project execution through effective stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and outcome-driven delivery.

- Provide deep technical guidance on performance, scalability, reliability, and architecture-related challenges.

- Support account entry strategies and create downstream business opportunities within client engagements.

Practice Development & Scaling

- Build and scale a high-performing Performance Engineering practice.

- Design and launch new service offerings, frameworks, accelerators, and solutions.

- Drive workforce planning, capability development, and resource optimization.

- Improve project profitability through automation, reusable IPs, and optimal skill utilization.

Client Engagement & Advisory

- Act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, and senior technology leaders.

- Build long-term client relationships across pre-sales and post-sales engagements.

- Deliver exceptional customer experience and ensure high client satisfaction.

- Drive customer advocacy and establish long-term strategic partnerships.

Business Growth & Pre-Sales

- Support business development initiatives through solutioning, proposal creation, and technical presentations.

- Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) and convert opportunities into long-term engagements.

- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives that enhance market positioning and brand visibility.

- Collaborate with sales teams to win strategic opportunities.

Innovation & Thought Leadership

- Identify emerging technology trends and create innovative solutions for enterprise challenges.

- Develop automation frameworks and intellectual property assets.

- Publish technical papers, blogs, and industry insights.

- Build organizational capability through innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Coaching & Team Development

- Mentor engineers, architects, and consultants on performance engineering best practices.

- Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on complex projects.

- Build organization-wide capabilities in architecture, performance optimization, and observability.

- Support career development and continuous learning across teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Expertise

- Extensive experience in Application Performance Engineering, Application Performance Management (APM), and Quality Assurance.

- Strong expertise in Java/J2EE-based enterprise applications.

- Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving performance, scalability, and reliability issues in large-scale enterprise environments.

- Deep understanding of Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and enterprise architecture.

Observability & Monitoring

Hands-on experience with observability and APM platforms such as:

- Dynatrace

- AppDynamics

- Ability to design executive-level dashboards and performance monitoring strategies.

Architecture & Cloud

- Experience defining and implementing end-to-end architecture for large-scale real-time systems.

- Expertise in architecture reviews, risk assessments, scalability analysis, and performance optimization.

- Strong hands-on experience with cloud environments, preferably:

- AWS

- Microsoft Azure

Performance Testing & Capacity Engineering

Experience leading performance testing initiatives using:

- Apache JMeter

- Gatling

- LoadRunner

- Strong understanding of:

- Workload modelling

- Performance benchmarking

- Capacity planning

- Monitoring strategy design

Data & Platform Technologies

Experience with:

- Apache Kafka

- Apache Storm

- Apache Hadoop

- Apache Spark

Database Technologies

Hands-on experience with:

- Oracle

- Microsoft SQL Server

- MySQL

- Cassandra

- MongoDB

Program & Stakeholder Management

- Experience managing large technology programs.

- Strong governance, risk management, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.

- Ability to engage effectively with CXO-level stakeholders.
