Role Overview:
This role will lead the organizations technology function, ensuring secure, resilient, and scalable IT systems that support business operations and client delivery. The position is responsible for defining and executing technology strategy, overseeing infrastructure and cybersecurity, managing systems implementation, and driving continuous improvement in digital capabilities. Ownership of information security compliance, including ISO and SOC 2 standards, is a key aspect of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, implementation, and ongoing management of IT infrastructure, including network, cloud, and end-user systems.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability across LAN, WAN, and remote access environments.
- Manage and govern relationships with IT vendors and managed service providers.
- Drive system upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Establish and enforce robust cybersecurity frameworks, incident response plans, and data protection practices.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security audits, and security awareness programs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, data privacy requirements, and client-driven security standards.
- Oversee access controls, identity and privilege management, endpoint security, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Lead optimization and integration of enterprise systems, including CRM platforms, cloud infrastructure, and workflow tools.
- Oversee the effective functioning and integration of finance, HR, VPN, cloud, and project management systems.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, standard operating procedures, documentation, and disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks.
- Standardize asset management, helpdesk operations, service delivery, and escalation processes.
- Own technology compliance for ISO and SOC 2 certifications, supporting internal and external audits.
- Build, manage, and mentor the IT team while coordinating closely with external technology partners.
- Foster a culture of responsiveness, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare technology dashboards, risk assessments, and performance reports for senior leadership.
- Identify and champion emerging technologies relevant to consulting and B2B service environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications (ITIL, AWS, Azure, CISSP, CCNA, etc.) preferred.
- 10-12 years of experience across IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and technology leadership.
- Strong knowledge of networking, cloud platforms, security frameworks, and enterprise systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- High standards of integrity and confidentiality, with the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, client-oriented environments.
