About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy Technology & IP Solutions Consultant to join our innovation-driven team. This hybrid role combines data analytics, business consulting, and intellectual property (IP) strategy to help clients maximize the value of their software systems and IP portfolios. You will act as the key liaison between technical teams and clients, designing tailored solutions that align with both business goals and IP strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients to understand business needs, conduct solution discovery, and ensure effective implementation.
- Leverage tools such as Python, Pandas, SQL, Excel (including VBA/Macros), and Power BI for advanced data analysis and reporting.
- Bridge the gap between technical software development and business/IP requirements, ensuring technology aligns with client goals.
- Gather client requirements, configure solutions, deliver user training, and support seamless system integration.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including patent analysts, software developers, and IP attorneys to deliver value-driven solutions.
- Assist in the migration of client data, ensuring accuracy and completeness throughout the process.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitors, and innovation opportunities relevant to the client's IP strategy.
- Provide strategic insights on patentability, infringement detection, and IP portfolio optimization using proprietary tools.
- Support the preparation of IP documentation, including licensing agreements, claim charts, and compliance reports.
- Offer advisory support on Indian and international patent regulations and compliance.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in Python, Pandas, SQL, Excel (including VBA/Macros), and Power BI.
- Proven ability to act as a functional consultant or business analyst in a client-facing role.
- Deep understanding of IP landscapes, innovation lifecycles, and patent strategy (preferred but not mandatory).
- Demonstrated experience in system configuration, process design, and business process optimization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical language into business value.
- Experience in client consulting, requirement gathering, and solution documentation.
- Prior exposure to legal tech, patent research, or IP software tools will be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, IP Law, or a related field.
- Certifications in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, or IP Management are a plus.
