The Role:
The Corporate Strategy Manager will be a key driver in shaping the long-term direction and competitive positioning of the company.
Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy/C-Suite, this role will be responsible for defining strategic priorities, evaluating new market opportunities, and leading high-impact, cross-functional initiatives to drive profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development & Planning
- Lead the annual strategic planning cycle for the organization, including defining the 3-5 year vision, strategic pillars, and key initiatives.
- Conduct deep market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and internal capability assessment to identify and prioritize growth opportunities, new business models, and potential risks.
- Develop data-driven business cases for major investment decisions, resource allocation, and market entry/exit strategies, presenting clear recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team.
Strategic Projects & Execution
- Lead and manage high-priority strategic projects from conception to implementation, often involving complex cross-functional teams (e.g., launching a new product line, evaluating a significant M&A opportunity, or driving organizational transformation).
- Structure ambiguous business problems, develop hypothesis-driven analyses, and synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Drive alignment and buy-in for strategic initiatives across various Business Units and functional leads.
Corporate Development & Special Initiatives
- Support Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and partnership strategy by conducting target screening, preliminary valuation, and strategic due diligence.
- Create compelling executive-level presentations and communication materials for the Board of Directors, investors, and senior management to clearly articulate the company's strategic narrative.
- Monitor and track performance against strategic goals, defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing appropriate tracking mechanisms.
Qualifications and Skills
Mandatory Qualifications
- Full-time MBA from a premier institute (IIMs, ISB, or equivalent global Tier-1 institution).
- 6-10 years of progressive experience, with a significant portion in Strategy Consulting (MBB/Tier-1 firms) or Corporate Strategy/Development for a large, complex organization.
- Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills with a proven ability to translate complex data into clear strategic insights.

- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to look beyond immediate challenges and develop a long-term, holistic perspective on business problems.
- Communication & Influence: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to and influencing C-level executives.
- Project Leadership: Ability to manage multiple strategic projects simultaneously, driving deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset to effectively work with and lead teams without direct reporting authority
