
Description: General Manager Repainting OR Ambience Maintenance Contracts
Department: Projects / Repainting & Maintenance
Reporting To: Director / Vice President Projects & Sales
Team Structure: Regional / Zonal Managers, AMC Sales Executives, Site Supervisors & Technical Coordinators
Job Purpose:
To lead and expand the Ambience Maintenance Contract (AMC) vertical by developing strategies, building client relationships, and ensuring business growth from Apartment Associations, Government Buildings, and Corporates, while maintaining service excellence and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Strategy:
- Develop and implement a national / regional AMC business plan focusing on repainting, touch-ups, and aesthetic upkeep contracts.
- Identify and establish relationships with Apartment Welfare Associations (RWAs), Facility Management Companies, and Government Maintenance Departments.
- Drive branding and awareness campaigns for Ambience Maintenance Contracts.
- Formulate pricing models, contract templates, and service packages.
- Ensure consistent revenue growth and profitability of the AMC division.
Team Leadership & Operations:
- Lead, mentor, and monitor a team of Regional Managers, Sales Executives, and Site Supervisors.
- Review team performance, guide in negotiations, and support in closing high-value deals.
- Conduct weekly and monthly reviews to track leads, closures, collections, and renewals.
- Coordinate with Technical, Projects, and Finance teams to ensure smooth execution and timely billing.
- Ensure AMC operations adhere to quality, safety, and service standards of Techno Paints.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong long-term relationships with key apartment associations, builders, and government bodies.
- Participate in tendering processes and pre-bid meetings when required.
- Address client escalations promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop a system for annual feedback and renewal tracking.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and present monthly business performance reports to management.
- Analyze AMC market trends, competitor offerings, and suggest business improvements.
- Monitor collection efficiency and cost optimization across AMC projects.

Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate in any discipline (Preferred: B.E/B.Tech Civil / MBA Marketing / Facilities Management).
- 10 - 18 years of experience in Paints, Building Maintenance, Facility Management, or Construction industry.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role managing sales and service teams.
- Proven track record in driving AMC or long-term service contract business.
