Job Purpose:
To lead and expand the Techno Paints Franchise Network across India by establishing strong franchise partnerships exclusively for paint products. The GM will ensure sustainable growth in franchise-led sales, consistent brand standards, and profitability across all franchise outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
Franchise Development & Expansion:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new franchise partners to expand Techno Paints market presence.
- Develop a strategic plan for franchise expansion in key cities and towns.
- Negotiate franchise agreements and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Plan regional roll-out and monitor performance of new franchise outlets.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Drive paint material sales through the franchise channel and achieve revenue and collection targets.
- Ensure product availability, timely supply, and proper stock management at each franchise.
- Work closely with the franchise team to ensure profitability and sales growth.
- Monitor and support franchisees in achieving monthly and quarterly sales objectives.
Franchise Operations & Support:
- Standardize franchise operations to align with Techno Paints business model.
- Train and guide franchise partners on product range, color consultancy, and sales process.
- Coordinate with Production, Dispatch, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth supply flow.
- Review operational performance and initiate improvement plans when required.
Marketing & Brand Visibility:
- Work with marketing to implement local promotional activities and campaigns for franchise outlets.
- Ensure all franchise stores maintain brand identity, display standards, and uniform look.
- Facilitate color studio setups and dealer branding at franchise locations.
Relationship & Performance Management:
- Maintain healthy relationships with all franchise owners and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct business review meetings and periodic audits for performance evaluation.
- Provide franchise partners with timely support in marketing, operations, and finance coordination.
Reporting & Strategy:
- Submit regular reports on franchise sales, collections, and performance metrics.
- Recommend business strategies to increase market penetration and franchise profitability.
- Analyze franchise ROI and ensure sustained growth of each outlet.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number of new franchise outlets opened
- Paint material sales and collection achievement through franchises
- Profitability per franchise and network-wide growth
- Franchise compliance with operational and brand standards
- Franchise retention and satisfaction score
Desired Candidate Profile:
Education:
- MBA in Marketing / Business Management or B.Tech (Civil / Chemical / Mechanical preferred)
Experience:
- 12 - 18 years in Paints Franchise / Dealer Development / Channel Sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the paint industry.
Skills & Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of paint industry sales and distribution
- Strong understanding of franchise and dealer operations
- Excellent negotiation and business development skills

- Commercial acumen, planning, and analytical ability
