
Techno paints Contractors - Onboarding Division
Job Title: Onboarding Head - Techno Contractors Division
Role Purpose -
The profiles are from PMC (TCE, L&T,CBRE, JLL,C&W,TCE, CQRE) companies etc.,
To lead and manage the complete onboarding lifecycle of contractors, supervisors, painters, and project-related workforce for Techno Contractors. Ensure smooth induction, documentation, compliance, orientation, and deployment of all manpower for projects across regions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Contractor & Workforce Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end onboarding of new contractors, site supervisors, painters, and skilled labour.
- Ensure timely collection and verification of documents (Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, previous experience, certifications).
- Maintain a standard onboarding checklist and ensure 100% compliance.
2. Orientation & Induction
- Conduct induction sessions covering company values, safety protocols, work procedures, and project execution guidelines.
- Align contractors with Techno Paints / Techno Contractors quality and safety standards.
3. Process & Documentation Compliance
- Create and maintain contractor databases, ID cards, agreements, and work orders.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, Projects, and Procurement for seamless process flow.
- Ensure onboarding SOPs are followed across all branches and sites.
4. Contractor Engagement & Performance Tracking
- Track initial assignment performance and ensure proper deployment of manpower at project sites.
- Conduct periodic reviews and feedback sessions with contractors and site teams.
- Escalate non-compliance, safety violations, or performance issues.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Project Heads, Execution Teams, and Regional Managers for manpower planning and forecasting.
- Coordinate with Safety Team for safety briefings and PPE issuance.
6. Reporting & MIS
- Maintain daily/weekly/monthly onboarding MIS reports.
- Provide updates on manpower availability, onboarding numbers, pending documentation, contractor productivity, and deployment gaps.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong coordination and people-handling skills.
- Knowledge of contracting, project manpower deployment, and basic labour compliance.
- Excellent communication in English, Hindi, and Telugu (preferred).
- Process-driven mindset with strong documentation discipline.
- Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate / MBA preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in onboarding of contractors, contractor management (preferably in construction/paints/interiors/projects).
- Experience in multi-site manpower deployment is an added advantage.
Reporting To: Head - Projects / COO (as per organizational structure)
