Role : Inventory Planning Techno-Functional Consultant

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Planning Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Inventory Planning, Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO), and Supply Chain Management.

This role combines functional consulting with technical analytics, requiring the ability to optimize inventory strategies while leveraging Python or Power BI to drive data-driven business decisions.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, supply chain teams, and technical teams to improve inventory performance, reduce costs, and enhance planning efficiency through analytics and reporting.

Location : Vikhroli (MBC2), Mumbai

Work Mode : Hybrid (5 Days Work Week)

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze and optimize inventory planning processes across the supply chain.

- Design and implement inventory optimization strategies using Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO) principles.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand planning challenges and recommend effective solutions.

- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

- Develop analytical models and dashboards using Python or Power BI to support inventory planning and business decision-making.

- Perform inventory analysis, demand variability assessment, and stock optimization.

- Build reports, dashboards, and KPIs for inventory visibility and operational performance.

- Work with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, and IT to drive continuous process improvements.

- Support solution implementation, testing, user training, and post-implementation enhancements.

- Ensure data accuracy and provide actionable insights through analytics.

Required Skills :

1. Functional Skills :

- Strong experience in Inventory Planning

- Expertise in Inventory Optimization (MEIO)

- Good understanding of Supply Chain Planning and Inventory Management processes

- Ability to gather and translate business requirements into functional solutions

2. Technical Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Python OR Power BI

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience working with large datasets and business reporting

Additional Mandatory Requirement :

- Candidates with Power BI expertise must also have strong SQL knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications :

- 6 - 9 years of experience in Supply Chain or Inventory Planning solutions.

- Experience in techno-functional consulting roles.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex inventory planning challenges.

- Experience working in enterprise environments with cross-functional teams.

- 60% Functional : Inventory Planning, Supply Chain Consulting, MEIO, Business Analysis

- 40% Technical : Python or Power BI, SQL (mandatory with Power BI), Analytics, Reporting & Dashboard Development
