Technical SME/Payment Consultant - IT Business Analyst - BFSI Sector

About the Role:

We are looking for a Technical SME with strong SEPA payments expertise to join our team and support advanced payment integrations and real-time payment solutions.

This role requires a techno-functional professional who can bridge business and technology by designing payment integration solutions, collaborating with banking teams, and driving best practices in modern payment architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead SEPA-based payment integrations, including SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT), SEPA Instant (SCT Inst), and SEPA Direct Debits (SDD).

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical and integration specifications.

- Design and define API-based interface solutions for payment systems.

- Work closely with banking integration teams, product managers, and engineering teams to deliver scalable payment solutions.

- Support real-time payment flows and system integrations across platforms.

- Define best practices, reusable frameworks, and integration patterns for payment services.

- Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of payment workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 8+ years of experience in payments, integration design, or solution architecture roles.

Strong hands-on experience with SEPA Payments, including:

- SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT)

- SEPA Instant (SCT Inst)

- SEPA Direct Debit (SDD)

- Payment system integrations

- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Webhooks, Kafka, and MQ.

- Strong understanding of real-time payment processing and payment flows.

- Experience working with payment platforms such as FIS, GPP, Finastra, or Fiserv.

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
