Job Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Manager to join our team. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen to identify customer needs, propose appropriate solutions, and close sales. You will work closely with engineering, product development, and customer support teams to ensure client satisfaction and long-term growth.


Key Responsibilities:


- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory or market segments.

- Understand and articulate the technical features and benefits of our products/services.

- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to clients.

- Prepare and present quotations and proposals tailored to client requirements.

- Act as a liaison between the client and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

- Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote products and generate leads.

- Maintain sales activity reports.

- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.


Qualifications:


- Bachelors degree/Master's in Business, or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years in B2B Sales, Industrial/Heavy Equipment preferred.

- Languages known Hindi/English plus one of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Gujarati.

- Strong understanding of technical products, systems, or solutions.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to travel as needed (1030% depending on the role).

- Construction Equipment Knowledge.

- Machine Technical Knowledge & application understanding.

- Sales Qualification Skills.

- Ability to assess budget, authority, need, timeline.

- CRM Systems Proficiency.

- Lead entry, opportunity update, tracking.

- Value Selling Ability.

- Explain TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), lifecycle value, Advantage, etc.

- Objection Handling.

- Respond to spec, price, or competition pushbacks.

- Communication Clarity.

- Clear articulation and structured call handling.

- Basic Quotation Ability.

- Ability to send base-level quotations using templates.
