Job Title: Technical Sales & Funding Lead
Department: Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
Reporting To: Founders & Strategic Advisors
Key Responsibilities
Funding & Partnerships
- Lead outreach and engagement with government officials, funding agencies (e.g., MeitY, DST, ISRO, state industrial development bodies), and public research institutions to secure non-dilutive grants, R&D funding, and strategic collaborations.
- Prepare detailed proposals, concept notes, budgets, and supporting documentation for grant applications.
- Develop and nurture relationships with venture capitalists, corporate investors, and ecosystem partners for strategic funding opportunities.
Technical Sales & Business Development
- Understand the company's semiconductor technology offerings and value propositions to present effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Drive sales discussions and presentations with potential customers, pilot partners, and industry collaborators.
- Translate technical product strengths into compelling business outcomes and use cases.
Documentation & Communication
- Maintain accurate records of engagement outcomes, proposal submissions, follow-up actions, and funding commitments.
- Create high-quality presentations, pitch decks, technical summaries, and business reports.
- Coordinate internally with founders and technical teams to align business objectives with product strategy.
Strategic & Market Insight
- Monitor relevant government schemes and funding landscapes (e.g., semiconductor programs, innovation grants) to identify opportunities.
- Provide market feedback and competitive analysis to guide business strategy.
Qualifications & Skills
Educational Background
- Master's or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Electronics, or related technical field from a reputed institute.
- Additional qualifications in business, management, or finance are advantageous.
Experience
- Proven track record in technical sales, business development, or funding acquisition within semiconductors, electronics, deep tech, or related sectors.
- Prior experience engaging with government agencies, funding bodies, or institutional partners is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive end-to-end proposal development and stakeholder negotiations.
