Our client a Global Payments Firm is currently engaged in a project with a leading bank in United Arab Emirates. To support with this, our client is looking to onboard a Technical Project Manager - Jaywan Integration, to join their team.

This individual would be required to own the product-side delivery of bank's Jaywan cards integration and rollout. Drive benefits mapping, product documentation, card design approvals, scheme certifications, marketing readiness, Business Verification Testing (BVT), pilot, and post-implementation reviews-ensuring alignment scheme and bank's governance standards.

Core Roles & Responsibilities:

- Products & benefits mapping: Define and maintain product constructs, features and customer value propositions across debit (and applicable co/mono badge constructs).

- Project document reviews: Lead/coordinate reviews of BRD, solution document, test strategy, test plan and test logs; ensure product requirements traceability through SDLC.

- Card design approval process: Orchestrate artwork, BIN/legend, embossing, personalization, and production approvals in line with bank's brand and scheme guidelines.

- Support card schemes certifications (product-side): Coordinate evidence and readiness for Jaywan scheme product certifications; track findings to closure.

- Engagement with Marketing: Partner on customer communications, launch assets, T&Cs, and rollout plans; secure sign-offs and campaign readiness.

- BVT & Pilot run: Plan and execute product-side Business Verification Testing, pilot cohorts, success criteria, exit/rollback plans and readiness gates.

- Post-Implementation Reviews (PIR): Capture learnings, customer feedback, defect trends; drive corrective actions and benefits realization tracking.

- Stakeholder management: Align Technology, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Cards Ops, Scheme contacts and vendors; maintain RAID logs and decision registers.

- Governance & reporting: Run working groups, publish status, risks/issues, and dependencies; present progress to senior stakeholders.

KPIs

- On-time delivery of integration milestones.

- Zero critical defects post-deployment.

- Compliance audit clearance.

- Stakeholder satisfaction score

Key Deliverables

- Products & Benefits Mapping matrix and signed Product Definition Document (PDD).

- Approved BRD, solution document, test strategy, test plan and test logs.

- Signed-off card design pack (artwork, production specs, personalization rules).

- Certification dossier and sign-off for applicable schemes.

- Customer communication plan and launch kit (FAQs, T&Cs, web/app copy).

- BVT report, pilot report, go-live readiness checklist and approvals.

- Post-Implementation Review report and benefits realization tracker.

Knowledge and Experience

- Strong understanding of payment systems, card schemes, and banking integration processes.

- Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

- Product management: CVP design, benefits benchmarking, pricing and T&Cs.

- Program management: RAID, change control, dependency and vendor management.

- Technical literacy: APIs/middleware basics, card personalization/production flows.

- Tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Office 365 suite.

- Soft skills: Leadership, clear communication, problem-solving, stakeholder alignment.

- Hands-on experience with card scheme guidelines, certifications and product launches.

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, testing lifecycle (strategy, plan, logs) and governance.

- PMP/PRINCE2 (mandatory); ITIL and/or PMI-ACP preferred.

Mandatory Skills

Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP; ITIL preferred.

Technical Skills: API management, SDLC, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), cybersecurity basics.

Tools: Jira, MS Project, Confluence.

Soft Skills: Leadership, stakeholder communication, problem-solving, adaptability.

This is a 12 months (extendable) contractual role based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
