Role Overview:

As a Technical Program Manager, you will serve as the bridge between high-level business objectives and the technical execution of complex data initiatives. You will lead cross-functional teams of data engineers, architects, and product managers to deliver end-to-end data warehousing and ETL solutions. Your day-to-day involves navigating technical trade-offs, managing project lifecycles, and ensuring that data infrastructure remains performant and scalable. By aligning engineering efforts with stakeholder requirements, you will directly influence the efficiency of data delivery and the overall success of our cloud-based product ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

- Orchestrate the end-to-end delivery of complex data programs, ensuring that engineering teams meet critical milestones for data warehousing and pipeline development.

- Facilitate communication between technical stakeholders and business leadership to translate complex requirements into actionable project roadmaps.

- Oversee the migration and optimization of data workloads across AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure to ensure cost-efficiency and performance.

- Manage the development lifecycle of ETL processes and Apache Airflow workflows to maintain high data integrity and availability for downstream consumers.

- Identify and mitigate technical risks or bottlenecks within the data architecture, proactively implementing solutions to prevent project delays.

- Drive the adoption of best practices in data governance and security, ensuring that all systems comply with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale data warehousing and Big Data projects, with 12 to 15 years of professional experience in technical program management.

- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and automation, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams on technical problem-solving.

- Proven ability to manage complex project workflows using Jira, ensuring transparency and accountability across distributed teams.

- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure environments, specifically AWS, GCP, and Azure, with the ability to guide teams through multi-cloud deployments.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and negotiate technical priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Exceptional analytical capabilities to interpret data trends and translate them into strategic program improvements.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, reflecting a strong foundation in technical principles.
