Technical Product/Platform Head - IT & Systems

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Technical Product / Platform Head who can take end-to-end ownership of technology-led product and platform initiatives. This is a hands-on technical leadership role at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Architecture and Business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technology foundation and experience in building or scaling digital platforms, applications, APIs, integrations and customer-facing features. The person should be able to understand system architecture and technical dependencies, translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions, and drive execution with engineering teams.

Key Requirements:

- Drive end-to-end development of new platform features, modules, journeys and capabilities, from problem definition and solution design through development, testing and production launch.

- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Business and external partners to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Lead the design and implementation of API-led integrations, microservices, middleware and third-party technology integrations.

- Define functional and technical requirements, solution approaches, system dependencies and integration specifications.

- Work with architects and engineering teams on system design, application architecture, API contracts and technical feasibility.

- Own integration of internal and external systems to create seamless digital customer journeys.

- Drive platform modernization, scalability, reliability, performance and automation initiatives.

- Identify technology gaps and opportunities across the platform and convert them into actionable product/technology initiatives.

- Manage multiple technology initiatives simultaneously, ensuring clear priorities, milestones, dependencies and delivery outcomes.

- Work closely with engineering teams throughout development while maintaining ownership of the business outcome and product capability being delivered.

- Lead UAT, production readiness, rollout and post-launch stabilization for critical platform capabilities.

- Manage technology partners and third-party vendors wherever required for platform/API integrations.

- Establish strong governance around architecture, integration standards, security, scalability and technology quality.

- Present technology roadmap, progress, risks, dependencies and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
