Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly technical, hands-on Technical Product Manager to own the end-to-end delivery and technical architecture of our core digital payments, settlement, and banking ecosystem. In this role, you will not just document requirements; you will serve as the core technical architect bridging business intent with deep engineering execution.

You must possess a strong software engineering foundation, a deep algorithmic understanding of high-throughput transactional workflows, and the ability to design detailed microservices blueprints, data contracts, and complex sequence flows.

Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Solutioning & Architecture: Move beyond basic requirement gathering to author comprehensive, production-ready Solutioning Notes and Technical Specification Documents from a strict implementation perspective.

- API Architecture & Data Contract Ownership: Design, optimize, and map robust REST/SOAP APIs, deep-link callback loops, and webhooks. You will define technical data contracts, including precise backend request-response attributes, field validations, and error-handling arrays.

- Core Payments Flow Mapping: Own the microservice orchestration and architectural system mapping for core Indian financial rails (IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, and UPI). You must be able to design detailed system workflows tracking funds from point-of-initiation to final bank settlement.

- Data Flow & Sequence Diagramming: Actively blueprint structural system integrations by drawing end-to-end sequence diagrams, transaction flowcharts, and data transit architectures using tools like Lucidchart or Draw.io.

- Agile Execution & Lifecycle Management: Own and prioritize the engineering backlog in Jira. Translate business ideas into developer-ready epics and user stories with clear, deterministic acceptance criteria.

- Hands-On Technical Validation: Lead rigorous validation sessions using Postman to test raw endpoint performance, verify response payloads, and isolate system bugs before production handoff.

Required Core Competencies & Technical Skills:

- Core Payments & Banking Knowledge: Deep, operational understanding of Beneficiary/Payee Validation systems, merchant onboarding engines, automated settlement/reconciliation loops, and fraud management framework integrations.

- System Integration Mastery: Proficient in designing data models, microservices handshakes, message queues, and secure Open Banking/Account Aggregator frameworks.

- Strong Coding/Engineering Foundation: Prior software engineering experience (e.g., Java, Python, SQL) is highly preferred. You must be able to deep-dive into code base limitations, understand complex data structures, and speak the exact technical language of backend engineering teams.

- Platform & API Fluency: Advanced proficiency in API tooling (Postman, Bruno, Swagger), system flow diagramming (Lucidchart, Draw.io), and Agile delivery management (Jira, Confluence).

- Analytical Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to break down high-entropy, ambiguous technical failures, trace system lags via log patterns, and implement architectural process improvements.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience operating strictly as a Technical Product Manager, Technical Business Analyst, or System Architect within a Fintech, Digital Bank, or Payment Aggregator ecosystem.

- Education: Graduate in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related streams). A Business Management Post-graduate degree with a focus on IT/Systems is a strong value-add.

Why This Role is Different:

This is not a high-level orchestration or coordination role. We are looking for a product leader who rolls up their sleeves to inspect the data field attributes, map out step-by-step API integration contracts, and take absolute ownership of system integrity from day zero.
