Job Summary :

- We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Technical Presales professional with strong expertise in database technologies, consulting, and professional services. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical knowledge across database platforms, data analytics, and modern data ecosystems, along with the ability to engage customers, lead technical discussions, and position enterprise solutions effectively in a presales environment.

- The candidate will act as a trusted technical advisor, partnering closely with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to design and present database-driven solutions aligned to customer business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Partner with sales teams to drive technical presales engagements and support solution positioning

- Understand customer business and technical requirements to design scalable database-driven solutions

- Deliver impactful technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and solution walkthroughs to clients and stakeholders

- Provide technical expertise during RFPs, RFIs, solution proposals, and customer discussions

- Act as a trusted advisor for database architecture, analytics, modernization, and migration initiatives

- Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with customer expectations

- Support customer evaluations, proof of concepts (POCs), and technical validations

- Stay updated with emerging technologies, including AI-driven data platforms, vector databases, and cloud-native ecosystems

- Build strong customer relationships and contribute to strategic technical discussions

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10-15 years of experience in database technologies with a strong consulting or professional services background

- Prior hands-on experience in DBA / Database Engineering roles

- Strong exposure to data analytics and enterprise database-driven solutions

Hands-on expertise in the following database technologies (in order of preference) :

- Informix

- Ingres / Actian Databases

- DB2

- Teradata / Netezza

- Oracle

- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and modern data ecosystems

- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to engage and present effectively to large audiences and leadership teams

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and lateral thinking capabilities

- Proven experience working in customer-facing, high-impact technical presales environments

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working with vector databases and AI technologies

- Proven track record in Sales Engineering / Technical Presales roles

- Exposure to enterprise solution architecture and data platform modernization initiatives

- Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern analytics ecosystems
