Role Overview:

As a Manager/Assistant Manager - Technical at renowned FMCG Company, you will be instrumental in leading and executing manufacturing and engineering projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and supply chain, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role directly impacts the success of our client engagements by driving efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee all phases of manufacturing and engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, aligning with client requirements and business goals.

- Develop and implement project management methodologies and tools to track progress, identify risks, and mitigate issues proactively.

- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement, implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.

- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring the application of best practices and industry standards.

- Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports for stakeholders, communicating progress, challenges, and recommendations.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

- Manage client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage manufacturing and engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery within defined parameters.

- Proven expertise in engineering operations, including process optimization, equipment maintenance, and quality control.

- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

Qualifying Education:

B.E. / B. Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Production / Industrial / Manufacturing) from IITs - (Delhi / Bombay / Madras / Kanpur / Kharagpur / Guwahati / Roorkee / BHU) (dual-degrees are also acceptable)

NITs (Warangal / Trichy | Surathkal)

Experience Required:

Post-qualification work experience of 1 to 3 years

Mandatory: Managing departments/shifts with product delivery targets in supply chain system Additionally, cross-functional / techno-commercial exposure across value chain is preferred

Preferred sector(s): Manufacturing in FMCG, Automobiles, White-goods
