
Technical Lead - Stakeholder Communication & Governance
Job Description:
We are looking for a well-organized and technically skilled professional to manage stakeholder communication and program governance for [Program/Project/Initiative Name]. This role is key to keeping leaders, sponsors, and teams aligned through structured communication, clear reporting, and timely handling of risks and decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and manage a clear communication plan for stakeholders, including regular meetings, updates, and how to raise issues or decisions.
- Lead governance activities such as steering committee meetings, approvals, decision-making processes, and risk management.
- Create clear, executive-level documents like dashboards, reports, briefing notes, and presentations for leadership updates.
- Track progress against key goals, timelines, and risks. Share updates and raise concerns early to help keep the program on track.
- Act as the main point of contact for all stakeholder communications and engagement.
- Maintain important governance documents like action trackers, decision logs, RACI charts, and compliance records.
- Look for ways to improve communication and governance processes to make them more efficient and effective.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Business, Information Systems, Project/Program Management, or a related field.
- Experience using data to support decision-making, track risks, and improve reporting.
- Experience in managing stakeholder communication and governance in programs or large projects.
- Skilled in using tools like PowerPoint, Excel, Google Slides to create professional presentations and reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to explain complex topics in simple, clear terms.
- Excellent organizational skills. Able to manage multiple priorities and track important details.
- Familiar with project management approaches such as Agile, Waterfall, or SAFe, and governance best practices.
- Comfortable working with senior leaders, technical teams, and cross-functional groups.
Good to have:
- Experience working on technology or digital transformation projects.
- Knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Power BI, or other project tracking/reporting platforms.
