Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of Kafka-based event-driven architectures.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and developers.
- Build and support Kafka producers, consumers, streams, and connectors.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Ensure platform reliability, scalability, performance, and security.
- Drive Agile delivery and manage project timelines.
- Implement monitoring, observability, and operational best practices.
- Support integration with banking, payments, and enterprise systems.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills: 8+ years of technology experience with 4+ years in Apache Kafka.
Strong expertise in:
- Apache Kafka
- Kafka Connect
- Kafka Streams
- Confluent Platform
- Event-Driven Architecture
- Microservices
- Java / Spring Boot
- REST APIs
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms is preferred.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and real-time data processing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or large enterprise environments preferred.
