Technical Head - Rigid Plastic Business

Head Technical Innovation (Rigid Plastic Packaging) &NPD

We are looking for a senior techno-commercial leader to drive end-to-end New Product Development (NPD) and manufacturing excellence for rigid plastic pails and containers used in paint, food-grade, industrial, and chemical applications.

This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise in injection moulding and rigid plastic packaging with a strong business and customer-development mindset.

What Youll Do:

- Lead NPD for rigid plastic pails & containers (concept to production)

- Drive mold & tooling development, material selection (HDPE/PP), lightweighting, and cost optimization

- Standardize injection moulding processes and improve quality, productivity, and yields

- Act as a techno-commercial interface with customers, sales, QA, production, and OEMs

- Support customer trials, approvals, and technical solution selling

- Lead and develop technical teams while driving innovation and continuous improvement

Must-Have (Please apply only if you meet these):

- 10 - 15+ years in plastic product manufacturing

- Mandatory experience in rigid plastic pails & containers

- Strong expertise in injection moulding, mold design, and manufacturing optimization

- Proven NPD or senior technical leadership experience

- Techno-commercial orientationable to link technical decisions with business and customer outcomes

- Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Creo)

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience with IML / IMD

- Exposure to international or B2B industrial packaging customers

- Knowledge of food-grade or chemical packaging regulations
