Job Description Technical Head
Role: Technical Head Home Loan
Location: Pune (Corporate Office)
Key Responsibilities
- Property Valuations & Site Evaluations: Conduct and supervise site visits, property valuations, and legal-verification coordination for both builder and self-constructed properties.
- Team Leadership: Manage and guide Regional/Area Technical Managers and Associates across the country; drive productivity, adherence to TAT, and policy compliance.
- Approval & Compliance: Review and approve high-value property valuation reports, ensuring alignment with internal guidelines, RBI standards, and compliance requirements.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate technical risks by scrutinizing land titles, construction quality, approvals, deviations, and encumbrance issues.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with empanelled valuers, legal partners, builders, and internal credit underwriting teams to deliver unbiased and accurate technical assessments.
- Quality Control: Implement robust audit and back-check mechanisms to ensure authenticity, reliability, and transparency of property appraisals.
- Training & Development: Conduct periodic training and workshops for regional technical teams and branch staff on technical red flags, documentation standards, and approval norms.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Risk, Credit, Legal, Operations, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth case lifecycle management.
- Market Intelligence: Track and analyze market trends in construction costs, municipal regulations, RERA updates, and legal developments affecting collateral risk.
- Audit & Documentation: Facilitate internal and external audits, resolve discrepancies, and ensure meticulous record-keeping in line with compliance expectations.

- Proven track record of managing large technical teams and handling high-ticket retail loan portfolios (Prime HL).
