Technical Co-founder/Chief Technical Officer - EdTech Venture - IIT

Role overview:

AMK Global Group is backing an IIT graduate to build an EdTech venture as a Technical Co-founder / CTO. This role is for a high-ownership builder who can define and ship an MVP, validate product-market fit through iteration, and scale technology responsibly.

Reporting & work requirements:

Works directly with AMK leadership / venture sponsor

Location: India (as per venture plan) Remote

Key responsibilities:

- Identify a high-potential EdTech problem and define MVP scope with a clear user persona.

- Build and ship MVP quickly; instrument product analytics and iterate based on user behaviour.

- Own product engineering end-to-end: architecture, development, quality and delivery velocity.

- Implement engineering standards: code quality, CI/CD, security basics and documentation.

- Recruit and mentor early engineering hires as the venture grows.

- Collaborate on GTM experiments and product growth loops.

Must-have eligibility (non-negotiable)"

- IIT graduate (mandatory).

- Strong hands-on engineering capability with demonstrable shipped work.

- Founder mindset: ownership, speed, resilience and willingness to operate in ambiguity.

- Ability to lead MVP to launch to iteration cycles independently.

Preferred qualifications:

- Prior exposure to EdTech / consumer product / learning workflows.

- Comfort with AI-enabled features (personalisation, assessment, content tooling).

What success looks like (first 6 months):

- MVP shipped and improved through frequent iterations.

- Active user adoption and retention signals achieved and tracked.

- Clear roadmap based on experiments and learning loops.
