Position Overview:

We are seeking highly skilled Business Analysts and Senior Business Analysts to join our Central Data Platforms team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for gathering business requirements, analysing large datasets, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure that data solutions align with business needs. In this dynamic role, you will be expected to wear multiple hatsacting as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, and Project/Program Manager as needed. Your adaptability, strong stakeholder management skills, and professional communication skills (both written and oral) will be critical to the success of our data initiatives.

This role offers the opportunity to partner with cross-functional teams including Business, Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Operations, ensuring that data-driven decisions are aligned with organizational goals. Additionally, you will work on critical-to-bank programs, co-creating significant impact on the products and services we provide to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Stakeholder Management: Engage with Business Teams/ Product Managers to gather, document, and prioritize requirements. Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units.

- Business Data Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of business data to identify right data sources, create data models, create source-to-target mappings etc.

- Documentation: Co-create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications based on business needs and technical capabilities.

- Data & Workflow Diagrams: Create data flow diagrams (L0, L1 diagrams), workflow diagrams (As-is & To-be state), and other visual representations to document and communicate business processes and data requirements.

- Project/Program Management: Manage project timelines, deliverables, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Drive end-to-end program delivery when required.

- Agile Methodologies: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and production release. Use Agile principles to manage project deliverables.

- JIRA & Confluence Management: Utilize JIRA for task tracking and sprint management, Confluence for requirement documentation.

Technical Responsibilities:

- Big Data Concepts: Thorough understanding of Big Data concepts, including the principles of large-scale data processing, distributed storage, and analytics platforms.

- Data Pipelines: Understand, document, and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient and scalable data processing

- Data Analysis: Partner with Data Analysts to analyse large business datasets to derive actionable insights and provide data driven recommendations to business stakeholders

- Data-First Architecture: (Good-to-have) Understanding of data-first architecture and its implications on data management and analytics along with basic understanding of how data-intensive applications are designed will help you to ace

Qualifications:

- Education: B.E/ B.Tech followed by MBA from a Tier 1 Institute preferred

Experience:

For Business Analyst: 3-6 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or related roles.

For Senior Business Analyst: 6+ years of experience with demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects and leading business analysis efforts.

Skills:

- Strong stakeholder management and project management capabilities.

- Experience in Agile methodologies and JIRA is a must.

- Proficiency in creating data flow and workflow diagrams.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

- Experience with data-platforms architectural stack and know-how of data-first architecture principles

- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based data architectures.

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.

- Versatility: Ability to switch between different roles (Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Project/Program Manager) based on project requirements.
