Technical Architect - Business Central Full time (Remote) Work Experience: 20+ years NP: Immediate or 15 days Job Description: About the Role: - We are looking for a seasoned Business Central Architect to join our internal team at a prestigious educational institution. - As a Business Central Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimising Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions tailored to our internal needs. - This position requires collaboration with various departments to ensure the Business Central system is effectively supporting our institution's operations. Key Responsibilities: - Solution Design and Architecture: Lead the architecture and design of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with our institution's requirements. - Implementation Oversight: Manage the implementation and configuration of Business Central modules, focusing on areas such as finance, student services, and operational management. - Customization and Integration: Develop customizations and integrations with other internal systems to enhance the capabilities of Business Central. - Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership to internal IT teams, ensuring best practices in development and system integration are upheld. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with various departments to understand their needs and translate these into effective Business Central functionalities. - System Optimization: Monitor and optimize system performance, addressing any issues or bottlenecks promptly. - Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all architectural designs, implementations, and system modifications. - User Support and Training: Provide training and support to internal stakeholders to ensure they are maximizing the use of Business Central. - Continuous Learning: Keep up-to-date with the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 updates and industry best practices to enhance internal systems continuously. Requirements: - Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central, focusing on implementation, customization, and integration. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in AL, C/AL, C/SIDE, and other relevant development tools and technologies. - ERP Expertise: In-depth understanding of ERP systems, particularly in educational environments, including finance, student records management, and operational management. - Integration Proficiency: Strong experience with integration methodologies, including APIs, web services, and middleware. - Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead complex ERP projects from inception to completion. - Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Certification: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications are highly desirable. - Problem Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
