Technical Accounting Role - CA

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and new accounting standards.

- Research and interpret accounting standards including Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP.

- Prepare and review technical accounting position papers, accounting memos, and financial reporting documentation.

- Support accounting treatment for business combinations, revenue recognition, financial instruments, leases, consolidations, and share-based payments.

- Assist clients in financial statement preparation and disclosures.

- Support audit and advisory teams in resolving accounting and reporting issues.

- Review management assessments and accounting conclusions for compliance with applicable standards.

- Monitor changes in accounting regulations and communicate implications to stakeholders.

- Develop technical accounting templates, training materials, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of engagements and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

- Qualified CA

- 2-8 years of experience in Technical Accounting, Accounting Advisory, Audit, or Financial Reporting.

- Strong understanding of Ind AS, IFRS, and/or US GAAP.
