Experience:

Minimum 5 Years in SAP PP with exposure to QM (Quality Management) and Implementation

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP/QM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP implementation projects and hands-on exposure to Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) manufacturing processes. The candidate should have solid knowledge of Production Planning (PP) along with Quality Management (QM) processes to support end-to-end manufacturing and quality operations

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyse business requirements and design SAP PP & QM solutions

- Configure SAP PP modules including:

1. Material Requirement Planning (MRP)

2. Bill of Materials (BOM)

3. Super BOM/ Master BOM for Variant Configuration

4. Routing / Work Centres

5. Production Orders

6. Capacity Planning

- Configure SAP QM processes including:

1. Quality Planning (Inspection Plans, MICs)

2. Quality Inspection (Incoming, In-process, Final Inspection)

3. Quality Notifications

4. Usage Decision & Defect Management

- Implement and support MTO & MTS manufacturing scenarios

- Work on end-to-end SAP implementation / rollout / support projects

- Configure planning strategies (Strategy 10, 20, 40, 50, etc.)

- Ensure seamless integration of PP & QM with MM, SD, and FI modules

- Prepare functional specifications (RICEFW) and coordinate with ABAP team

- Perform Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and UAT support

- Support go-live activities and hyper care phase

- Provide production support and resolve issues within SLA

- Conduct user training and prepare documentation

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration

- Good working knowledge of SAP QM module

- Proven experience in SAP implementation projects (12 full lifecycle minimum)

- Deep understanding of MTO (Make-to-Order) and MTS (Make-to-Stock) processes

- Experience in MRP, Production Planning, and Shop Floor Control

- Knowledge of Quality Processes in Manufacturing

- Integration knowledge with MM, SD, QM, and FI modules

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Very Good Communication Skills

- Knowledge of Variant configuration with class and characteristics.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (PP &QM)

- Knowledge of PP-DS (Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling)

- Exposure to Fiori apps

- Experience in discrete manufacturing industry

- Knowledge of Serial Number in Production Process is added advantage

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelors degree in engineering / manufacturing / IT

- SAP Certification in PP Preferred

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication and stakeholder handling

- Ability to work in cross-functional teams

- Good documentation and presentation skills
