Responsibilities: - Configure and customize SAP FICO modules (FI & CO) to meet business requirements, focusing on internal controls and financial reporting. - Participate in full lifecycle SAP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and go-live. - Develop and maintain functional specifications and configuration documentation. - Design and implement internal controls within the SAP system, including segregation of duties (SoD), access controls, and workflow approvals. - Conduct SoD analysis and implement remediation strategies. - Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations (Sarbanes-Oxley, GAAP, IFRS). - Analyze existing financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation. - Translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions. - Provide expert advice on best practices for financial processes within SAP. - Identify and assess financial risks and implement appropriate controls to mitigate those risks. - Support internal and external audits. - Monitor and report on compliance with financial regulations. - Design and configure financial reports to provide accurate and timely information for decision-making. - Perform data analysis and financial modeling. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and audit. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. - Provide training and support to end-users. Qualifications: Experience: - Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant with a focus on finance controls. - Proven experience in SAP FICO configuration and implementation. - Experience with SoD analysis and implementation. - Experience with S/4HANA is a plus. Technical Skills: - Strong understanding of SAP FICO modules (FI & CO). - Proficiency in SAP configuration and customization. Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong attention to detail. - Strong understanding of accounting principles. Education: - Matser's/Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. - Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA) are a plus.
