Tech Co-Founder/Founding CTO - Startup - IIT

Role

AMK Global Group is incubating an EdTech venture and is hiring a Tech Co-Founder / Founding CTO to build the product 0- 1 and lead technology + early engineering.

Best fit: recent IIT graduate with strong engineering fundamentals and startup mindset.

Responsibilities

Own MVP build end-to-end: architecture, backend, frontend/mobile, database, deployments.

Translate EdTech requirements into product features with measurable outcomes.

Make key tech choices (stack, scalability, security, performance, cost).

Set up engineering practices: repo standards, CI/CD, testing, code reviews, documentation.

Work closely with business/education stakeholders on roadmap and execution.

Hire/mentor early engineers as traction grows.

Requirements (Must-Have)

B.Tech/M.Tech in CS/IT/ECE (Preferred: IIT, recent graduate).

Strong fundamentals: DSA, OOP, DB design, API design, problem-solving.

Evidence of building: GitHub/portfolio, internships, hackathons, shipped projects.

High ownership, speed, comfort with ambiguity; founder mindset.

Interest in education/learning and enthusiasm for EdTech.

Requirements (Good-to-Have)

Full-stack exposure: React/Next.js / Flutter + Node/Python/Java/Go.

Cloud basics: AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, CI/CD.

Familiarity with EdTech components: assessments, analytics, LMS, personalization.

Compensation / Structure

Competitive compensation (fixed/consulting based on profile).

Co-founder-track equity / ESOP.

Backing + operational support from AMK Global Group.
