Head - Tech & Innovation - R&D || Farm Equipment || North India

We are seeking a seasoned Technology leader to identify & drive innovation, chart out technology roadmap & lead development of next-generation tractor. This role calls for a balance of deep technical expertise, customer foresight and ability to landscape competition & emerging application and provides leadership to steer cross-functional teams towards achieving these objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Innovation Leadership:

- Define & Lead product innovation strategy.

- Create effective solutions for enhanced customers' value

- Integrate new technologies in the Next-gen products.

Customer & Competitive Benchmarking:

- Benchmark industry players, adjacent markets, & global best practices to identify opportunities pro-actively.

- Translate customer foresight and competitive intelligence into differentiated product concepts.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to steer implementation.

Leadership & People Development:

- Mentor and lead a team of engineers and specialists within R&D.

- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management:

- Liaise with external technology partners, suppliers, and academic/research institutions for co-development.

- Work closely with senior management to align R&D strategies with business priorities.

- B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering

- 20+ years' experience in off-highway vehicles, tractors, or automotive with excellent customer immersion & foresight.
