Job Title : Team Manager - Portfolio Risk & Compliance (CLO)

About the Role:
- We are looking for a Team Manager - Portfolio Risk & Compliance to lead a team supporting the monitoring and reporting of a broad portfolio of US and European CLOs (Collateralized Loan Obligations).
- In this role, you will oversee compliance monitoring, investor reporting, and risk analysis while collaborating with Portfolio Managers, Trustees, Accountants, and Legal teams.
- The position requires strong domain expertise in structured credit products, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of analysts supporting portfolio risk and compliance activities for US and European CLO portfolios.
- Oversee compliance monitoring with investment restrictions, including post-trade and hypothetical testing.
- Supervise comprehensive monthly investor reporting, ensuring adherence to indenture requirements.
- Manage quarterly waterfall preparation and review in collaboration with Trustees and Accountants.
- Coordinate with Portfolio Managers, Legal teams, and internal stakeholders to resolve compliance-related issues.
- Liaise with Collateral Administrators, Trustees, and Fund Administrators to ensure accurate data flow and reporting.
- Review deal write-ups, investment guidelines, and compliance requirements for new CLOs and warehouse deals.
- Oversee ramp reporting, tracking borrowings, capital contributions for warehouses, and equity projections for new deals.
- Manage data breaks, exceptions, and operational issues by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Drive process improvements, policies, and procedures to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle ad hoc requests from Portfolio Managers and senior leadership while ensuring timely delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- CFA / FRM (completed or in progress) preferred.
- 9-12 years of experience in portfolio compliance, risk reporting, or structured credit operations.
- Exposure to structured credit products such as CLO, ABS, or CMBS (highly desirable).
- Strong leadership and team management skills with experience mentoring analysts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with global stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
