Sales Team Manager - B2B

- We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Team Manager - B2B to lead and grow our inside sales team.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.

- This role requires strong leadership abilities, proven experience in B2B sales, and the capability to collaborate across departments to maximize business opportunities.

- The candidate will develop and implement effective sales strategies, oversee lead generation to deal closure, and track sales metrics to evaluate team performance.

- They will play a critical role in motivating and mentoring the sales team, maintaining high levels of productivity, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

- Additionally, the role requires building strong relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and working closely with marketing and product teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates.


Key Responsibilities


- Develop and execute B2B sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals


- Manage and oversee the entire sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives to ensure high performance

- Track sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and present insights to senior management

- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to improve lead generation and conversion rates

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients while exploring new business opportunities

- Ensure timely follow-ups, high-quality client communication, and adherence to sales best practices


Qualifications:

- MBA or equivalent degree preferred

- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B inside sales with at least 3 years in a managerial role

- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

- Strong knowledge of B2B sales processes and strategies

- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Experience in ed-tech, SaaS, training, or related B2B industries is an added advantage


Technical Skills:

- CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

- Familiarity with lead generation platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or ZoomInfo

- Knowledge of sales automation tools and reporting dashboards

- Understanding of data analytics for sales performance tracking
