Team Leader For a Leading Wealth Management Firm (8-17 yrs)

Role Summary:

An experienced Team Leader is required to manage a pod of bankers in a wealth management setup. The role will be responsible for leading a team of senior and junior bankers, driving AUM growth, cross-sell productivity, client engagement, and overall business performance. The Team Leader will also be expected to coach team members, monitor targets, and ensure strong execution across products and client segments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a pod structure consisting of 2 Senior Bankers and 4 Junior Bankers.

- Drive AUM growth, revenue generation, and ROF performance across the team.

- Guide bankers on client acquisition, relationship management, and portfolio expansion.

- Monitor team productivity, monthly performance, and business achievement against targets.

- Support bankers in building and maintaining strong client relationships.

- Coach team members on product knowledge, cross-selling, and business development.

- Ensure consistent execution of wealth management strategies and client servicing standards.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support smooth business operations.

- Review team composition, productivity, and overall mix to maximize performance.

Target Expectations:

0-1 year bankers: 1x CTC AUM target at 75 BIPS ROF

1-2 year bankers: 2x CTC AUM target at 75 BIPS ROF

2+ year bankers: 3x CTC AUM target at 75 BIPS ROF

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Strong experience in wealth management / private banking / premium banking / relationship management.

- Prior experience managing a team of bankers or RMs.

- Good understanding of AUM, cross-sell, client acquisition, and portfolio growth.

- Candidates from wealth management firms, private banks, or relevant relationship-driven financial businesses will be preferred.

- Strong people management, coaching, and business development skills.

- Ability to work in a target-driven, high-performance environment.

Preferred Background:

- Experience in wealth management firms, private banking, or premium banking divisions of banks.

- Candidates who have handled team leadership, client coverage, and revenue delivery.

- Strong exposure to HNI / UHNI client segments.
