Role: Team Leader | Wealth (B2C)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Team Leader | Wealth (B2C) to manage and lead the B2C wealth team in Mumbai for a prominent Hiring Partner in the Asset Management/Financial Services industry. This leadership role demands a "leading from the front" approach, expert networking skills, and a strong focus on team development. The successful candidate will drive aggressive HNI/Ultra HNI acquisition and ensure the team consistently achieves business and revenue targets across a diverse mix of sophisticated wealth products.
Primary Responsibility & Core Functions
Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage the entire B2C team in Mumbai, focusing on strategic guidance and ensuring the comprehensive talent development and professional growth of all team members.
- Provide Leadership by leading from the front, setting performance benchmarks, and actively participating in key client activities.
- Act as a Team Lead / Network Manager, overseeing team performance, conducting necessary training, and fostering a high-performance sales culture.
Business Target Achievement and Sales:
- Be responsible for Achieving the business targets / Team targets assigned in terms of up-selling Products and significantly enhancing and upgrading the Client Net Worth relationships.
- Drive sales and Achieve sales and revenue targets spread across the entire product mix.
- Accompany the team to represent and close HNI/Ultra HNI deals involving specialized products like Mutual Funds (MF), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), and Alternate Investment Funds (AIF).
Client Acquisition and Service Excellence:
- Lead the effort in HNI/Ultra HNI Acquisition, expanding the firm's high-net-worth client base in the B2C segment.
- Ensure the highest levels of service is provided to the client / HNI customers, maintaining long-term, trusted relationships.
- Provide expert Investment planning and advice tailored to the complex needs of the HNI and Ultra HNI clientele.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in Wealth Management or Financial Services.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience in Team Handling, Team Leader, and Team Management roles.
Core Competency: Must possess strong Networking capabilities and be Self Motivated.
Product Knowledge: Strong, demonstrable knowledge of specialized wealth products, including Mutual Fund sales, PMS, and AIF.
Client Segment: Extensive experience dealing with Wealth, HNI, and Ultra HNI client segments.
Industry: Background in Asset Management / Financial Services industry type.
Education & Functional Details
Education: PG/Master degree is required.
