Role Title: Group Leader PMS Sales
Location: Mumbai
Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification preferred (MBA / Finance or equivalent).
Qualification may be relaxed for candidates with strong, relevant experience in PMS / wealth distribution.
Experience:
Proven experience in sales and business development within PMS, AIF, wealth management, or related financial products.
Prior experience in leading and managing a sales team is strongly preferred.
Strong exposure to relationship management, distributor handling, and HNI/UHNI client acquisition.
Role Overview:
The Group Leader PMS Sales will be responsible for driving business growth, managing and mentoring a team of Relationship Managers (RMs), expanding distributor partnerships, and achieving sales targets across PMS and AIF products. The role requires strong leadership, execution capability, and deep understanding of investment products and distribution channels.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Relationship Managers to achieve individual and team targets.
- Conduct regular training sessions, joint client/distributor calls, and performance reviews.
- Build a high-performance, results-driven sales culture.
Business Development & Sales:
- Drive PMS and AIF sales through RM-led, distributor-led, and direct channels.
- Design and execute sales strategies, campaigns, and product positioning initiatives.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of HNI, UHNI, and institutional clients.
Distributor & Channel Management:
- Identify, onboard, and manage individual and corporate distributors, including IFAs, wealth managers, family offices, and institutional partners.
- Strengthen distributor relationships to ensure consistent and scalable business flow.
- Conduct distributor meetings, product presentations, and performance discussions.
Client Engagement:
- Support RMs in key client interactions and high-value closures.
- Act as a senior escalation point for client relationship management and service excellence.
- Ensure a superior client experience across all touchpoints.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Track and monitor sales performance against targets on a regular basis.
- Prepare and present MIS, pipeline reports, and performance updates to senior management.
- Identify gaps and implement corrective actions to improve sales productivity.
Key Skills & Competencies:
