Minimum Qualification and Experience:
- MBA/PGDM full-time qualification from an institution ranked within the top 25 in the NIRF Management Rankings for FY 2025.
- Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the Resource and/or Energy Sector.
Role Purpose:
The Team Leader will be responsible for leading and coordinating project teams, managing stakeholder interactions, ensuring timely delivery of assignments, and providing sector-specific guidance in areas related to resources, energy, power, sustainability, infrastructure, policy, planning, or allied domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multidisciplinary teams for assignments in the Resource and/or Energy Sector.
- Plan, allocate, monitor, and review team deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
- Provide technical, managerial, and strategic inputs on sector-related projects, studies, reports, and advisory engagements.
- Coordinate with clients, government agencies, industry stakeholders, consultants, and internal teams.
- Review data, policies, regulations, market trends, and project documentation relevant to the energy and resource sectors.
- Prepare and supervise reports, presentations, proposals, action plans, and implementation roadmaps.
- Ensure compliance with applicable project requirements, quality standards, timelines, and organizational processes.
- Mentor team members, build capability, and support effective knowledge sharing within the team.
- Identify risks, resolve operational issues, and escalate critical matters to senior management as required.
Required Competencies:
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Sound understanding of the Resource/Energy Sector, including sector policies, programs, market dynamics, and implementation challenges.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and cross-functional coordination.
- Proficiency in preparing management-level presentations, project reports, and decision-support documents.
Preferred Experience Areas:
- Energy transition, renewable energy, power sector, coal, oil and gas, mining, natural resources, sustainability, climate, infrastructure, or allied advisory projects.
- Experience working with government departments, public sector undertakings, regulatory bodies, consulting firms, development agencies, or large private sector organizations.
- Prior experience in project management, policy analysis, program implementation, business development, or sector research.
