Designation / Title : Team Leader

Summary : As part of a small team, reporting to the Financial & Regulatory Reporting Team Leader, the Associate will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, regulatory reporting and completion of other tasks outlined below. The Associate will be required to follow internal company procedures and controls to ensure delivery of a quality product.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Reporting:

- Prepare financial statements in a timely and accurate basis including all underlying workings files.

- Ensure any queries relating to the financial statements are responded to in a timely and professional manner.

Regulatory Reporting:

- Prepare monthly and quarterly regulatory returns within the strict deadlines of the Central Bank of Ireland which include MMIF Returns, NAV Return, PRISM return, Quarterly Non-Irish Return.

Other:

- Prepare fund income distribution calculations

- Prepare other information requests on an ad hoc basis

Role:

- Ensure all internal and external service levels and regulatory deadlines are met within the Financial and Regulatory Reporting team.

- Assist in drafting procedures to meet professional standards

- Implement agreed improvements in team processes to ensure they are robust, controlled, and efficient.

- Build and maintain excellent relationships with all key internal stakeholders.

- Actively question methods and processes with the key to making the team more effective and efficient.

- Foster a positive team environment and ensure open communication.

- Identify instances of non-compliance and refer to the Operations Manager, Senior Managers, and the Compliance Department, and resolve them.

- Create and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues on the Financial and Regulatory Reporting team and with colleagues across the Waystone Group, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.

- Maintain own professional competence.

- Previous experience in Financial Reporting relating to Investment Funds

- General understanding of Investment Funds including investments such as Equities, Bonds, Derivatives, etc.

Education:

- A degree in Finance or Accountancy

- Partly or Fully qualified ACA/ACCA or similar qualification

Experience:

- The ideal candidate will have at least two year of experience in accounting, preparation of financial statements and audits.

- Work timings: EMEA business hours
