Team Leader - EHS - Manufacturing

Position: Team Leader (Manager) EHS (Leading MNC Manufacturing Company)

Role:

- The role will track, implement and guide on EHS matters in the Plant.

- Guide management on legal updates.

- Carry out EHS audits in the plant and guide management towards the flaws observed in the system and helping towards identifying the solutions.

- Ensure adherence and maintenance of the Company's EHS standards and do audits to verify the compliances and guide the management towards its fulfilment.

- Do the risk assessment and environmental Aspect Impact studies along with Managers and their follow up process towards mitigation of critical items.

- Work towards the improvement in overall EHS culture.

- Should have the adequate knowledge and exposure of work on ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 Management systems.

- This position will report to the Plant Head.

Requirements:

- Qualification: Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety with BE/ BTech.

- Additionally, qualifications in environmental science will be added value, i.e. BE/MSC environmental with ADIS.

- Minimum 10 - 16 years of Experience in EHS field preferably in a process Industry (Ceramics, Speciality Chemicals, Plasters, Cement, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Paper and Pulp, etc.).

- Prior experience working in an MNC/ process oriented company will be preferred.

- Sound knowhow on EHS laws and regulations.

- Good Knowledge and exposure on ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001 Management Systems.

- Good Leadership Qualities. Coordinating and Motivating abilities.

- Good written and communication skills and Influencing Skills.

- Problem solving attitude.

- Customer oriented approach.
