Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated Accounting Team Lead with expertise in US GAAP, general ledger, and financial reporting. This leadership role involves working closely with Staff and Senior Accountants and overseeing general accounting functions, including reconciliations, month-end closings, and audits for a US-based healthcare client.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and review general ledger account reconciliations and complex journal entries.

- Oversee month-end close processes and review financial statement packages.

- Mentor Staff and Senior Accountants and review their work for accuracy.

- Participate in audits, variance analysis, and analytical reporting.

- Drive process improvement initiatives and handle large-scale data in Excel.

Requirements :

- Postgraduate degree required; MBA or CA preferred.

- 5+ years of US GAAP accounting experience in mid-to-large firms.

- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with Oracle/PeopleSoft.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual setup.
