Role Overview


We are seeking an experienced and driven Team Lead US Accounting to manage a team of accounting professionals and oversee end-to-end accounting processes for US-based clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong domain expertise in US accounting, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage client expectations effectively.


Key Responsibilities:


- Lead and manage a team handling US accounting processes including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting


- Review and finalize work prepared by team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP


- Handle client communication and act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts


- Ensure timely delivery of month-end and year-end closing activities


- Manage workflows, allocate tasks, and monitor team performance


- Train, mentor, and upskill team members to enhance productivity and quality


- Identify process improvements and implement best practices for operational efficiency


- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and clients to resolve queries and issues


Required Skills & Qualifications:


- Bachelors/Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CApreferred)


- 5 - 8 years of experience in US Accounting, with at least 12 years in a leadership role


- Strong understanding of US GAAP, bookkeeping, and financial reporting


- Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar


- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment


- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


Preferred Qualifications


- Experience working with US CPA firms or outsourcing environments


- Exposure to taxation and compliance (nice to have)


- Proven track record of team handling and performance management


Work Timings


- Hybrid work model (Gurugram Sector 62)


- US Shift (Evening/Night shift aligned with US time zones)
