Role Overview


We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Lead Sales to manage and mentor our field sales executives. The ideal candidate will bring 9+ years of experience in B2B sales, team leadership, and customer relationship management. This role involves strategizing, team supervision, performance monitoring, and ensuring the achievement of regional sales goals.


Key Responsibilities


- Lead and manage a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) focused on field sales.

- Coach and train team members to improve customer engagement, conversion, and retention.

- Track team KPIs and sales performance; implement action plans for underperforming areas.

- Conduct regular field visits to ensure high-quality customer interactions and relationship building.

- Strategically segment the market and assign territories to maximize coverage and results.

- Collaborate with senior management to align sales efforts with business goals.

- Analyses customer feedback and market trends to refine pitches and improve the value proposition.


Required Skills & Competencies


- Leadership & Coaching: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and upskill sales teams.


- Strategic Sales Execution: Strong B2B sales planning, execution, and optimization skills.

- Customer Engagement: Expertise in relationship-building and upselling to small and medium enterprises.

- Performance Management: Ability to monitor KPIs, conduct reviews, and drive improvements.

- Communication: Fluent in English and Hindi; proficiency in Marathi is a plus.

- Problem Solving: Analytical mind-set with a proactive approach to challenges.


Qualifications & Experience


- Education: Graduate-level degree; MBA preferred.


- Experience: 9+ years in sales with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.

- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems and reporting dashboards.

- Personality: Results-oriented, self-driven, and collaborative.
