Role Summary
The RM Team Lead will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and scaling a team of Relationship Managers, while ensuring consistent advisory quality, productivity, revenue performance, and compliance. This is a player-coach role, combining people leadership with hands-on client engagement and revenue oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead a team of 46 Relationship Managers, setting clear expectations and performance goals
- Conduct regular team meetings to review priorities, pipelines, and outcomes
- Coach RMs on client engagement, advisory execution, and productivity best practices
- Ensure discipline, consistency, and accountability across the team
Revenue Ownership & Client Engagement
- Drive team-level revenue targets and growth outcomes
- Participate in key client meetings to support closures and relationship deepening
- Track and review individual and team KPIs, identifying improvement opportunities
Advisory Quality & Governance
- Review and validate investment proposals and advisory recommendations
- Ensure accurate documentation, CRM hygiene, and advisory execution
- Enforce adherence to internal processes, governance frameworks, and regulatory guidelines
Candidate Requirements
- 6 to10 years of experience in wealth management / investment advisory
- Minimum 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and scale RM teams
- Strong understanding of investment advisory products and client portfolio management
- Detail-oriented with a governance-first and compliance-driven mindset
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
