Team Lead Projects (Unsecured Collections)

Location: Mumbai On-site

Function: Collections / Projects / Process Excellence

Reporting To: Strategy Head Collections

Role Purpose:

To lead and deliver strategic and operational projects within unsecured collections (Personal Loans, Credit Cards, Digital Loans), focusing on process improvement, productivity enhancement, cost optimisation, and faster execution of strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end projects across unsecured collections covering early, mid, and late buckets.

- Drive process improvement, SOP standardisation, and operational transformation initiatives.

- Coordinate with Collections Ops, Strategy, Analytics, Product, Tech, Risk, and Compliance teams.

- Support rollout of new collection strategies, tools, workflows, and policies.

- Track project KPIs such as productivity uplift, cost reduction, recovery improvement, and TAT.

- Prepare project MIS, dashboards, and management updates.

- Ensure adherence to RBI Fair Practices Code, Digital Lending Guidelines, and ethical norms.

- Lead and guide project executives/analysts to ensure timely and quality delivery.

Experience & Qualification:

- 6-10+ years in collections / projects / process improvement roles.

- 3-5 years in unsecured collections (PL, Cards, BNPL, Digital Loans).

- NBFC / Fintech / Bank collections experience preferred.

- Graduate in Engineering / Management / Finance.

- MBA / PMP / Six Sigma certification is a plus.
