About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Team Lead - MIS (Management Information Systems) to lead our MIS team. The role involves managing end-to-end MIS reporting, data analysis, process automation, and ensuring accurate, timely, and business-driven insights for decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the MIS team and oversee day-to-day reporting, data management, and analysis.

- Design, develop, and deliver accurate MIS reports, dashboards, and performance trackers for management and business stakeholders.

- Ensure timely and accurate data collation, validation, and dissemination.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, HR, etc.) to understand reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.

- Develop and automate reports using advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.

- Identify gaps in reporting processes and implement process improvements & automation.

- Provide insights on business performance, highlight trends, and support management in strategic decision-making.

- Train, mentor, and manage MIS team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables.

- Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality at all times.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong expertise in MIS reporting, data analysis, and business intelligence.

- Proficiency in Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau (or similar visualization tools).

- Strong understanding of data management, dashboards, and automation.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

- Strong leadership & people management skills.

- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and deliver under pressure.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.

- Minimum 7+ years of experience in MIS/Data Reporting, with at least 2-3 years in a team lead/managerial role.

- Experience in handling large datasets and working in a corporate/business environment.

- Exposure to process automation and digital transformation initiatives preferred.
