Our client, a high-growth financial services firm specializing in inclusive advisory, investment banking, and strategic investments in emerging markets, is looking for a Team Lead Africa Region to drive their pan-African business strategy.

Role Overview:

As the Team Lead for the Africa region, you will be responsible for:

- Leading corporate advisory and investment banking mandates across the continent

- Driving capital raising and investor engagement

- Managing key regional partnerships and operations

- Mentoring a high-performing cross-functional team

- Executing multi-country projects and ensuring regulatory compliance

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute Africa market strategy across key verticals

- Drive business development and relationship building with DFIs, FIs, and government entities

- Lead investor engagement and fundraising efforts for Africa-focused transactions

- Oversee project execution, compliance, risk management, and performance monitoring

- Build, lead, and mentor a diverse team aligned with the Africa business vision

Qualifications:

- 15+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate advisory, investor relations, or operations

- Deep exposure to African financial markets and institutions

- Strong experience in deal execution, fundraising, and stakeholder management

- CA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent qualification preferred

- Multi-country leadership and regulatory experience highly valued
