
- This role is for a leading global risk management and assurance services company with presence in 50 countries and on its journey of shared services evolution.
- The role can be hybrid , based in Mumbai or Remote in India for the right talent.
- The HR Operations Team Lead role is responsible for leading the team by overseeing and organising all employee lifecycle related administrative matters for them to be delivered and supported seamlessly.
Role Purpose:
The role will ensure that employment lifecycle administrative matters (Day-1 to Offboarding) are resolved at first instance by the team making references to existing processes, procedures, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders; is compliant and with auditable records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership to the People Admin /HR Ops team ensuring daily activities operate effectively matching deadlines and set requirements.
- Assign and delegate daily activities to team members, ensuring they are delivered to high standards of completion, to meet SLAs and business priorities.
- Monitor service delivery metrics and implement corrective actions where needed.
- Responsible in immediate escalations of matters and offer solutions including guidance to the team, internal stakeholders, external stakeholders (as applicable).
- The role will ensure the team adopts and follows strictly to set processes, policies, and -guidelines where records are in order and auditable.
- The role will ensure high level of data assurance and integrity, eliminating errors at all levels of processes.
- This includes physical and digital data.
- Partner with Payroll, and other People teams to resolve complex issues.
- Responsible in identifying areas of knowledge development for the team to allow continuous learning and improvements.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Champion operational excellence and continuous process improvement.
Requirements:
- HR Professional with experience in managing a team in shared services, strong people leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multi-country operations and vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with APAC payroll processes and understanding of statutory compliance and local labour laws.
- Experience with HR systems, data & information control, and governance (SAP: Success Factors preferred).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems ( ServiceNow) for HR service delivery.
- Solution focused with ability in identifying and understanding employment administrative matters.
- Excellent communication skills and able to communicate with all levels of stakeholders.
- Excellent organisation and planning skills, motivated by deadlines and KPIs to deliver.
- Experience in designing ,implementing and improving HR operational processes.
- Knowledge of automation tools and process improvement methodologies.
