We are seeking an Accounting & Finance Team Lead to manage and lead our Accounting and Finance team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 7- 8 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and finances across multiple clients. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage a team, ensure high-quality deliverables, and actively contribute to execution during critical situations.
Qualifications :
- CA (Mandatory)
- 7- 8 years of experience in Accounting, MIS
- Experience in managing teams and handling multi-client environments (Mandatory)
Technical Skills (Mandatory) :
- Strong expertise in accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero, Sage, Tally, or similar platforms
- In-depth understanding of end-to-end accounting, including month-end and year-end closing
- Strong knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations, AP/AR, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial analysis, MIS reporting, and dashboarding
Additional Skills (Preferred) :
- Exposure to US / UK / international GAAP
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Knowledge of audit coordination, compliance, and statutory requirements
- Ability to mentor, train, and develop team members
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the Accounting & Finance team, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
- Review accounting, MIS reports, budgets, and dashboards prepared by the team
- Manage multiple client engagements with effective planning and prioritization
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting and reconciliations
- Act as the primary point of contact for client communication, audit support, and compliance matters
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members
- Handle critical situations by stepping in at the execution level when required
- Drive process improvements, SOP development, and automation initiatives
- Support onboarding of new clients, including transition planning and system setup
- Step in during fire-fighting situations and work at the ground level when resources are unavailable.
- Drive process improvements for greater efficiency and client satisfaction.

- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 8-10 members
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines and client requirements under pressure
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on approach with the ability to balance management and execution
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
